The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Sodhi asking the Inspector to arrest him and leave Popatlal. Sodhi says he is ready to take the blame on him. The Inspector says he can only arrest the culprit.
The doorbell rings and the Inspector asks a constable to open the door. As the constable opens the door, Abdul walks in. He gets confused seeing police in Popatlal’s house; he goes to Popatlal and gives him hair oil. Abdul says now Popatlal can apply the oil to cool his mind. Inspector says we will take Popatlal and beat him in the jail, so he will surely need the oil to cool his mind.
Abdul asks what is happening. The Inspector says Popatlal stole the mango box and he only filed the complaint, that his mango box is missing. Abdul says Popatlal cannot do such a thing. Abdul sees the mango box and says he brought the box to Popatlal’s house.
Abdul says he was going to meet Bhide, but he saw a box in Popatlal’s name on it, so he brought the box to Popatlal’s house. He called out Popatlal, but Popatlal did not respond so he kept the box behind the sofa and left.
Popatlal realises that Abdul must have come to keep the box when he went on terrace to feed birds. Abdul apologises to Popatlal and Inspector Chalu Pandey for not informing.
Harish asks the Inspector if he can take the parcel. Inspector asks Harish to give Popatlal his parcel and take the mango box.
Sodhi says finally Inspector Chalu Pandey solved the case.
Meanwhile, everyone sees Harish leaving with the box. Popatlal and Inspector Chalu Pandey come into the society compound and explain everything.
Later, Jethalal is worried as Bapuji and Tapu are not answering his call. Bagha asks Jethalal to call Tapu again. Jethalal tries again but it doesn’t get connected.
Back to Gokuldham society, Bapu and Tapu return home. Tapu sees Jethalal’s missed call and calls him. Jethalal answers the call and scolds Tapu for not answering the call. Bapuji asks Jethalal not to scold Tapu.
Jethalal says he tried to call him and Tapu, but got no response so he got worried. Bapuji then explains all the drama to Jethalal.
