The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Jethalal telling Bapuji that Popatlal’s phone is switched off. Bagha worries and asks how they will contact Popatlal. Bapuji says they will go inside the hotel and find out. Jethalal, Bagha and Bapuji go into the resort. Dipti, Manager Rishi and Sanjana greet them. Sanjana asks Jethalal how she can help him. Jethalal asks Bagha to talk to the receptionist. Bagha tells Sanjana that he has booked 2 rooms in their hotel. Sanjana checks the booking slot asks Bagha’s ID to check-in.
Jethalal gets to know more about the hotel. Rishi says the hotel owner is in London. Bagha asks about the meeting. The Manager gets confused. Bapuji says they have come into their hotel as they have a meeting. Bapuji says the hotel owner needs a TV and Refrigerator in every room. The manager says they are having some misunderstanding, they already have TV and Refrigerator in every room. Bapuji worries and asks him where is Popatlal. Jethalal asks Bapuji not to take Popatlal’s name. Bapuji goes to the washroom.
Bagha asks Jethalal to call Popatlal. Jethalal tries to call Popatlal but still, the phone is switched off. Bharti tries to switch on Popatlal’s phone. Bharti gets happy and informs him that the phone is on. Popatlal calls Jethalal and asks where he is. Jethalal says he has reached the hotel and is near the reception. Jethalal says the receptionist said that they don’t need any TV or Refrigerator and also no guest is staying in their hotel by name, Popatlal. Popatlal asks Jethalal to go into his room and then call him.
Later, Bapuji, Jethalal and Bagha go into their room and calls Popatlal. He keeps the phone on speaker. Popatlal asks Jethalal to close the door. Jethalal asks why Popatlal is talking like a secret agent. Bapuji asks Bagha to close the door. Popatlal gets shocked to hear Bapuji’s voice. Bagha says he has also come. Popatlal says Jethalal made a big mistake by getting Bagha and Bapuji.
Popatlal asks Jethalal to come to the lakeside so that he can explain everything. Bapuji says he and Bagha will also come. Popatlal asks them to come to the lakeside and wait for him.
