Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira (Shivangi Joshi) telling Suhasini that she was about to commit a sin and that she has now stopped it from happening. Upon hearing this, an emotional Suhasini hugs Naira and cries as she realized her mistake.
Suhasini realizes that she was only thinking about her family and not about the unborn baby and she then goes on to apologise for what all she told to Naira. She then says that Naira is a wonderful human being who thinks about everyone. Naira replies to her that there is a surprise waiting for them and she then calls Gayu and Samar to come out. Seeing them all get happy, Naira finally admits that they had lied to ensure that everything went well. Kartik (Mohsin Khan) finally exclaims that now they should all start the ceremony.
Naira is then seen thanking Purushottam for his help, while Illa also comes in and tells that her father is the best and that she is very proud of him. Purushottam tells Naira to join their company because that would make him very happy as well.. Meanwhile, everyone is seen enjoying the fun galore and dancing to the music in the background in the engagement ceremony (tere hui mere zindagi tere hui track is played).
Manish goes on to tell Suhasini that she should accept Gayu whole-heatedly and not worry about anything. While everyone else is seen dancing, Purushottam tries to come near Naira and touches her, which Mansi quickly notices. She immediately jumps in and pushes him away, throws his camera and proceeds to shout at him. Mansi exclaims that she will not allow Purushottam to do the same with Naira, as he had with her and this is where she reveals in front of everyone that he used to molest her when she was a kid. This is when Rama enters and pushes Mansi, and this is the exact moment where her dream breaks and she realizes that none of it was quite real.
In the night, Kartik sees Naira under her blanket and ask what is the matter, to which she replies that she is preparing for a presentation that confusing her. Kartik encourages and motivates her saying she can do anything she desires and proceeds to make coffee for her while she preps. The next morning, when Naira wakes up late, Kartik comes and tells her to get ready as he prepared everything for her.
In the precap, everyone looks quite busy running around and preparing for Samar’s wedding, while Purushottam says that he has to take Naira with him for the presentation. This ticks Naira off and she has a feeling that his intentions aren’t all too nice.
