The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik and Sirat not able to hear each other’s voices due to network issues. He goes to meet the investors. The investors say that they support women empowerment and ask Kartik if he has witnessed any such empowered women. Kartik thinks about Sirat and says he has met one. The investors congratulate him.
Later, Kartik is unable to sleep. Kartik checks the news and read Ranvir’s murder case news. He worries when he gets to know that Sirat did not go for the hearing. Sirat recollects Indira asking her to be confident whenever she is saying anything in the court; she saw Kartik waiting there so she asks Indira to take another date as she is unwell. Sirat gets ready for the next hearing. Vishal comes and troubles her. The uncle tells Sirat that he will call the police. Sirat says she has to put an end to this matter. Sirat says she had some work but is not going now. Sirat thinks she anyhow has to go for the third hearing. Kartik worries and thinks Sirat should not miss her third hearing. He is worried about where Sirat can be. He thinks of finding Sirat.
The next day, Vishal follows Sirat. He says Sirat has appeared from nowhere and nobody knows who she is. He asks her to tell the truth if she murdered anyone and ran away. Sirat punches Vishal and asks him to stay away from her. Kartik calls Naksh and says he is returning home and all his work is done.
Sirat is working in a house. She prays to Khatu Maharaj that he should make everything right. The aunty hears it and says she heard this name somewhere in Rajasthan. Sirat worries. The aunty asks if she is okay. Sirat says she is unwell. The aunty asks her not to work and eat pancakes with her. Sirat says she will make lemonade for herself.
Suwarna says she has two good news. The first is that there are no media people outside their house for a week. Dadi says she can go to the temple peacefully. Manish asks what is the second one. Kairav turns and sees Kartik. He goes and hugs him. Dadi asks how Kartik has come home early. Kartik says his work got completed. Manish asks Suwarna to get his breakfast in his room. Kartik says he is going to freshen up and Manish can have breakfast with everyone.
Dadi prays to God to solve father and son’s issues. Kairav asks Kartik if he met Sirat. Kartik says he has some work and is going out. Dadi asks Kartik how much he will trouble himself for Sirat. Kairav says Sirat helped him when he was sick, so Kartik should help her. Kartik hopes everyone should think like Kairav. Kairav says he will talk to Manish about it.
