The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik saying he has come to take Sirat for the 3rd hearing and there is one more reason. Kartik says that he has come to remind her of dreams which Sirat is trying to break. Kartik shows her the keychain. Sirat drops the keychain. Kartik holds the keychain and asks Sirat not to give up on life. Sirat says she doesn’t want to go back in that life. Kartik says that Sirat cannot leave her dreams, she is a national champion and needs to play more rounds ahead. Sirat says for who she shall do all that. Kartik says for Nani.
Sirat gets emotional. Kartik says Nani wanted Sirat to achieve her goals and become a boxer and now Sirat has to do it for Nani. Sirat says she will apologise to Nani but cannot go back into that life. Sirat says Nani will understand her and know why she had to give up on her dreams. Sirat says Sirat is dead and now she is Simran who works in a flower shop. Kartik says what Sirat was before and what she has become. He says he will not leave until he takes Sirat with him.
The next day, Kartik makes breakfast for everyone. The doorbell rings. Uncle and Aunty go to check. Sirat says Kartik should have gone by now. She gets shocked to see Kartik. She asks what he is still doing there. Kartik says he will not leave until Sirat comes with him. Kartik asks aunty if he can stay for few more days. Aunty says Kartik can stay for how long he wants to.
Later, Kartik goes to Sirat’s room and tries his best to convince her but Sirat says she will not go with Kartik and pushes him out of her room.
