The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Chauhan giving Ranvir’s phone to Aradhana and telling her that in that phone there is an audio recording in which Sirat has confessed that she has feelings for Kartik. Aradhana asks Chauhan if he wants her to frame Kartik too. He says yes. Kartik calls Aradhana and says that he is ready for the interview. Kartik looks at his family photo and thinks he will clear all the misunderstandings in the interview and not let his family’s reputation spoil. Aradhana tells Chauhan that she will take Ranvir’s phone and return it later.
Goenka’s thinks what will Kartik do next. Kartik comes there and says he will give a live interview and clear everything. Aradhana comes there. Aradhana says she knew Kartik will never deny her offer. She asks the cameraman to fix the camera for their interview. Kartik says he wants the interview to be live. Aradhana agrees.
Sirat starts shivering. The constable checks her and says Sirat has fever and asks someone to call the doctor. The constables see that Aradhana is live with Kartik Goenka. Sirat worries. Kartik sees Ranvir’s phone and thinks Aradhana can use Sirat’s audio recording against him. He drops water on the phone and the phone gets switched off.
Aradhana starts questioning Kartik. She asks how Kartik knows Sirat and Ranvir. Kartik says he knows Sirat through his son, as he misunderstood that Sirat is his mother. Kartik says his wife looks the same as Sirat, so they had misunderstood. Aradhana asks Kartik if he fell in love with Sirat as her face looks like his wife’s. Kartik says no. He says Sirat is just a friend.
Aradhana asks Kartik why Sirat was poisoning Ranvir and from when. Kartik says Sirat did not poison Ranvir, He says that Ranvir died by lead poisoning and it’s not Sirat, it can be someone else too, maybe for Ranvir’s family. Aradhana asks if Kartik was in Sirat’s room when Ranvir died. Kartik says yes. Everyone worries. Chauhan gets happy.
