The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik saying it’s their last goodbye. Sirat turns and says yes. She cries. Kartik looks at the house and leaves. Uncle and Aunty come to Sirat and ask Sirat to save Kartik’s family from trouble. Aunty says if Sirat and Kartik will join hands, they can fight any problems together. Uncle and Aunty say that everyone fights for their self-respect but if someone fights for other’s self-respect, they are precious. They ask Sirat to protect Kartik and his family. Aunty asks Sirat to go with Kartik. Sirat asks what about them. Uncle says they both can take care of each other and asks Sirat to come to meet them. Sirat agrees to leave. Kartik starts the car and leaves. Sirat comes out calling Kartik. Kartik doesn’t hear her and goes. Sirat gets upset.
Kairav says tomorrow is Teej and all the ladies will keep fast for their husband. Kairav says he wants someone to keep fast for Kartik too. Vansh says if Sirat would have married Kartik, Sirat would have kept fast for Kartik. Kartik says Kartik and Sirat’s Jodi was the best. Dadi thinks Kartik met someone special in his life. Suwarna sees the exhibition banner and gets excited. Manish says seeing the decoration it looks like a wedding house.
Kartik comes home. He opens the door for Sirat. Kartik and Sirat move toward their main gate. The flashback is shown where Aunty asks Sirat to be behind Kartik; Sirat takes the bicycle and goes behind Kartik. Sirat stops Kartik by coming in front of his car.
Back to Goenka house, Sirat says Manish will be upset with them as they did not inform him. Kartik holds Sirat’s hand and rings the doorbell. Manish opens the door and gets shocked to see Kartik holding Sirat’s hand. He asks Kartik what is Sirat doing there. Kartik says Sirat has come to help them. Surekha says that due to Sirat they have to go through a lot and still Kartik wants to get Sirat into their house. Manish holds Sirat and says Sirat cannot live with them. Manish pulls Sirat. Kartik says Sirat cannot go out of their house as she is his wife. Everyone gets shocked.
Manish leaves Sirat’s hand. Sirat stands speechless. Surekha says Kartik used to ask them before taking any decision and today he got married to Sirat without their permission. Surekha keeps insulting Sirat. Suwarna asks Surekha to think before speaking. She asks Kartik to take Sirat to their room.
Later, Sirat asks Kartik why he lied about the marriage. Kartik says he did not know what to say when Manish was taking her out, so he lied. Sirat cries. Kartik says he has nothing to say other than sorry.
