The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat saying that in 7 days she will prove herself innocent. She says if she cannot prove herself, she will surrender herself and ask the judge to punish her. She says she will happily take the punishment thinking about the pain she caused to Goenkas due to her problem. Sirat says she just wants to prove herself cause she doesn’t want the media to drag Goenkas name in between. Sirat asks the media to wait for a week and all the truth will come to them. She says she cannot complete Ranvir and Nani’s wish but will not let Goenkas name get dragged into her case.
Sirat goes inside and requests Goenkas not to leave the house due to her. She asks Manish to wait for 7 days until she proves her innocence and will also return them their respect. Sirat asks Manish just to wait for a week. Kartik and Suwarna take Sirat’s side. Manish looks at Sirat and asks Suwarna if she wants to break her fast or not. Suwarna says yes and goes with Manish. Sirat says Manish did not agree. Kartik says Manish did not deny either. Kartik consoles Sirat that everything will be fine.
Dadi asks Sirat to open her fast. Sirat worries. Sirat asks Dadi if she can do the last ritual in her room as she doesn’t want any problems in their family due to her. Dadi agrees and asks Kartik to feed Sirat as she is fasting from yesterday night. Kartik agrees. Manish opens Suwarna’s fast followed by Akhilesh-Suwarna. Sirat looks at the moon. Kartik gets food for Sirat and asks her to eat. Sirat asks Kartik where is his food. Kartik says Dadi has sent only one plate for them, so Sirat should have 1st, he will have later. Sirat says they can together have food from one dish.
Kairav thinks of going into Kartik’s room and clicking Sirat-Kartik’s pic. He sees Akshara crying. Kartik tells Sirat that she will prove her innocent and asks her not to worry. Sirat says she is worried about the reaction when Goenkas will come to know about their fake marriage. Kairav comes to them and asks whose fake marriage are they talking about. Kairav also mentions that Akshara is crying. Kartik goes to Akshara. Sirat tells Kairav the truth. Kairav gets upset.
Sirat tries to tell him the reason. Kairav says Naira told him that sometimes they have to hide things so that they won’t hurt others and he understands Sirat’s problem. Kartik hears them.
Later, Suwarna asks Sirat if she is sleeping with Kairav. Sirat says Kairav was insisting. Suwarna says that Kairav is asleep and asks her to go into her room. Suwarna tells Sirat that she knows Kartik and Sirat’s wedding was done in hurry and they are not yet comfortable, but Sirat will adjust soon.
Kartik asks Sirat to sleep on the bed while he will sleep on the sofa. Sirat says she has the habit of sleeping anywhere so she can adjust. Sirat takes the pillow. Kartik says he will not give Sirat the pillow until she agrees to sleep on the bed. Sirat pulls the pillow from Kartik’s hand. Kartik loses his balance and they fall on the bed.
