The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat saying that without playing her fight she will not leave the boxing ring. The manager says if the federation sees the drama then he will lose his job. Kartik says even their manager is trying to ruin Sirat’s dreams. Goenkas ask the manager to change his decision and allow Sirat to play the match. The manager says he will let Sirat play the match but they should stop her from creating the drama. Kartik asks Sirat to come down from the ring as the manager is allowing her to play the match. Kartik explains to Sirat that all the opponents are state champions and Sirat should not get scared. Sirat says she dumped the boxing gloves a few months back but today she is back. She asks Kartik where her coach is. Kartik says the coach is on his way.
The coach comes with Kirti. Sirat says now she has to go to prepare herself. Kartik asks Sirat to be careful and not get hurt. Sirat says it is a boxing match and she will get hurt. Kartik wishes her all the best and asks her to take care. Kirti notices Kartik’s concern. Kirti asks Kartik if he started feeling for Sirat while keeping his fake relationship. Kartik says he doesn’t know what to say. Kirti asks Kartik to express his feelings to Sirat after her match. Kartik asks what if Sirat rejects him, Kirti asks Kartik to do his work and leave it on Sirat.
Sirat’s match starts. Sirat wins 2 matches easily. For the 3rd match, the coach says Sirat is stronger than her opponent and asks Sirat to knock her out in the 1st round. The final match starts. The opponent punches and hurts Sirat. Kartik encourages Sirat to get up and fight. Sirat recollects Nani’s words. She gets up and fights. Sirat wins the finals and becomes the National champion. Kartik takes Sirat to the dressing room.
Manish says he is thirsty. Surekha says she will get water for him. Kartik congratulates Sirat. Sirat says everything is solved and now they should tell their family about their fake marriage. Surekha hears their conversation and goes to inform Manish. Manish gets a call from their watchman who informs them that there is leakage into their house. Manish tells everyone that they have to go home. Manish asks Kartik to stay with Sirat as the medal ceremony is left.
Goenka’s return home. Akhilesh says they will have to stay somewhere else as their house leakage will take time to get repaired. Dadi says she wanted to do Kartik and Sirat’s marriage lavishly. Surekha says they are not married and are lying to everyone. Everyone gets shocked. Surekha says she heard Kartik and Sirat’s conversation. Kairav and Kirti say Surekha must have misunderstood them. Surekha says Kairav and Kirti knew about it all this while. Manish questions Kairav and Kirti.
Meanwhile, Kartik meets Sirat in the boxing ring and says he wants to tell her something. Sirat asks if it is about their fake marriage. Kartik says no.
