The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat coming home and seeing Nanku robbing money for her house. Sirat goes to him and teaches him a lesson. Eela comes there and asks Sirat not to touch her son. Sirat says Nanki stole her money and she will teach him a lesson. Both start arguing.
Sirat’s Dadi comes there and asks Sirat not to talk to Eela. Sirat says Eela left her husband and baby girl for… Eela’s 2nd husband comes and stops Sirat. They both start arguing. Dadi takes Sirat inside the house and asks her to ignore them.
Sirat asks Dadi to throw Eela and her family out. Dadi says she is her mother and Eela has equal rights on the house. Dadi reminds Sirat that Eela is her real mother.
Sirat says her mother died when she left Sirat and her husband for some other man. Sirat says Eela never cared for her, never came when her father died nor when Sirat needed her help.
After some time, Sirat asks her Dadi to sign on her boxing form. Sirat then realises that her passport size photo which she clicked to paste on the form is missing. She rushes towards the hostel to check for the photos.
Sirat goes to the watchman and takes her photos from him. The watchman says that if someone would have seen her photo then his job would have been in trouble. The watchman asks Sirat to thank Kairav as he found Sirat’s photo. Sirat asks the watchman to give some nuts and toffee.
Later, Eela tries to convince Dadi to get Sirat married. Sirat comes there and starts arguing with Eela. Eela reminds Sirat that she is Sirat’s real mother.
Sirat recollects all the memories and asks Eela where she was when Sirat needed her.
