The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat apologizing to Kartik as Kairav got upset due to her mistake. Sirat says it’s her responsibility to take care of Kairav. Sirat asks Kartik if he doesn’t want to know where she went. Kartik says he knows that she went to the hospital. Sirat says she went to meet Ranvir, but he ran away again as before. Kartik thinks of telling Sirat about Ranvir’s past. He recollects Suwarna’s words that it will be very difficult for Kairav if Sirat leaves. Kartik stays quiet.
On the other hand, Ranvir asks Chandan to get a lawyer. Ranvir says he needs to meet Sirat and remind her of their promise. Nidhi comes to the police station and hugs Ranvir. Ranvir asks why she has come to Nidhi and says Ranvir left without the doctor’s permission, he doesn’t care about his life and nor about his family. Ranvir says he doesn’t have any relation with his family. Nidhi says what is her mistake, why Ranvir abandoned her.
Nidhi says she will call their father and ask him to free Ranvir. Chandan says he asked him to do it before, but Ranvir doesn’t want any help from his father. Nidhi says she will call Kartik for help. Ranvir asks how Nidhi knows Kartik. Nidhi says she met Kartik in the hospital as he was searching for Ranvir.
Meanwhile, Sirat sees an old diary and recollects Ranvir writing his contacts in it. Siray throws the dairy. The driver calls Kartik and informs him that Ranvir crushed his car, he is in jail now and the car will get ready in two days. Kartik finds the diary. Kartik then goes to the police station and takes back the complaint against Ranvir. He doesn’t meet Ranvir and leaves.
Suwarna calls Kartik and tells him that he and Sirat have to go to meet Dadi. Ranvir gifts a car to Kartik as an apology. Kartik and Sirat leave to meet Dadi.
Kartik takes Sirat to the SSC company’s godown. He recollects talking to Ranvir and asking him to meet Sirat. Sirat sees the name of the company and gets happy. Ranvir recollects Sirat and Kartik getting engaged and ruins his room. Sirat comes and punches him.
