The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik meeting Ranvir. He notices that Ranvir is hurt and asks him what happened. Ranvir recollects crushing the glass bottle with his hand. Ranvir says it was an accident. Kartik says the cut seems very deep. Kartik says he is staying in the nearby hotel and asks Ranvir to come with him so that he can nurse his wounds. Ranvir says he is leaves. Kartik says he is bleeding and need medical help.
Meanwhile, Suwarna asks Sirat to choose a ring. Sirat asks Suwarna to choose or Kartik can choose the ring later. Suwarna says he choose a girl to marry is more the enough. Sirat sees the rings and recollects her memories with Ranvir. Sirat gets confused. Kairav and Vansh help her to choose the ring but asks her what type of ring she likes. Sirat asks Suwarna if Kartik will like the ring or not. Suwarna asks Sirat to go to Kartik and ask him.
Sirat and Kairav leave. They hear a staff member saying that Kartik’s friend is injured and wants turmeric milk. Kairav says they will check or Kartik and his friends. Kartik goes to Kartik, while Sirat gets busy on a call with her coach.
Kairav meets Ranvir and asks him to show his wound. Kairav sees Ranvir’s hand and says the cut is deep, he will get the first aid box. Kairav gets the first aid box and Kartik nurses Ranvir’s wound. Ranvir gets a call.
Kairav shows the ring to Kartik and asks him how is it. Kartik asks what is the ring for. Kairav says it’s Sirat’s ring for their engagement. Ranvir comes there and sees the ring. He thinks Sirat would have surely liked the ring. Kartik keeps the ring aside and packs all the medicine packet. The ring falls in the pack.
Kartik gives the packet to Ranvir and asks him to go to a doctor. Ranvir and Kairav talk for a while. Kairav says he likes Ranvir. Ranvir leaves.
Sirat ends her call and comes to Kartik. She asks him about his friend. Kartik says his friend is fine and he left. Sirat then asks if he liked the ring. Kartik says he liked the ring. Sirat asks Kartik to give the ring to Suwarna.
Later, Kartik goes to Suwarna and gives her the ring box, he says that he liked the ring and asks her to keep it safe.
Nani enjoys riding in the baggy and goes out with the driver. Suwarna informs Kartik that Nani has gone out to buy an engagement ring for him, as it’s their ritual. Suwarna says the driver is with Nani and will take care of her.
Kartik hopes that Manish and Naksh, should accept Sirat and agree to their marriage. Suwarna asks Kartik to spend some time with Naksh and Kirti, along with Sirat.
