The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Manish asking Kartik what is Sirat’s ex-boyfriend doing there. Kartik says he will answer all the questions, but needs some time. Manish says he wants to know everything and won’t wait for long, and that if Kartik is not telling him anything then he will ask Sirat and Ranvir about it. Kartik says he will explain Manish everything but he needs to hear everything from the start. Kartik explains everything to Manish. Sirat hears their conversation. Manish says Kartik cleared their misunderstanding. Manish says he knew his son is great but did not know that he will prove his greatness to his friend and forget about his family. Kartik asks what is his mistake.
Nani asks Sirat to wait. Sirat says it was Nani’s right to hide the truth, so Sirat has all the rights to get angry at Nani. Manish asks Kartik what he will tell Kairav. Manish asks Kartik if he is getting married to Sirat or no. Kartik says he doesn’t know and only Sirat can answer their question.
Meanwhile, Sirat thinks about Ranvir’s love and Kartik’s friendship. She sees Kartik and calls him. Sirat says she wants to make a decision. Sirat shows the boxing locket which Ranvir gave and shows their engagement ring in her other hand. Sirat says she has to choose one from these and she chose their engagement ring. Sirat says Kartik has done a lot of favors on her which she cannot repay, but can complete their agreement. Kartik takes the locket and acts as he threw it. Sirat worries. Kartik says just a thing that Ranvir went away from her and she got worried, what will happen when Ranvir will go away from her.
Kartik explains that not many people get their love, he can try a lot but Naira can never come back to him. Kartik asks Sirat to be with Ranvir and not worry about him or Kairav. Kartik says Kairav is his responsibility and he will handle Kairav. Sirat hugs Kartik and leaves. Kartik worries about what he will tell Kairav.
Meanwhile, Kairav tells Vansh that he is missing his mother. He says that when Sirat is around he feels good, but when Sirat goes somewhere he panics and worries if Sirat will leave him. Suwarna hears Kairav’s conversation and thinks of talking to Sirat.
