The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat saying she is very proud of Kairav. Kairav says he is very lucky to have Sirat. Kairav says that he is tired and will be in his room all day. Kairav leaves with Vansh. Manish says that Kairav is smart and tells everyone that he will not come out of the room so that they can plan a surprise for him. Sirat says she will do all the arrangements and asks everyone to come into the living room at midnight.
Kartik goes to Manish-Suwarna and asks them not to include Sirat in any arrangements related to their birthday. Kartik says Sirat gets busy doing all the arrangements and then forgets about her practice. Kartik mentions that when Dadi’s friends had come, Sirat missed her photoshoot. Manish says Naira used to manage everything as she was Naira but Sirat cannot become Naira. Sirat hears their conversation and gets upset.
Kartik learns that Sirat heard his conversation. Sirat stands upset. Kartik hugs her and apologises to her. Sirat promises Kartik that she will focus on her boxing and do all the birthday preparations too. Kartik says Sirat has her match tomorrow and she should focus on that. Sirat says that she will plan the surprise and then will do her practice. She also promises Kartik that she will not miss her match. Kartik agrees.
Kairav tells Vansh that Naira used to make blueberry cupcakes and used to surprise him on every birthday. Sirat hears that and thinks of making cupcakes for Kairav. Sirat goes into the kitchen and keeps the cake to bake. She then tries to do the decorations. Gayu comes there and gives some ideas to Sirat. She shows some pics of the past birthday parties and gives some tips to Sirat. Sirat gets busy doing the decorations.
Sirat realises that the cake got overcooked. Kartik comes there and calms Sirat. He helps Sirat to make the cake and cupcakes again. Sirat feels tired so she takes some medicine and gets busy decorating the house.
At midnight everyone gathers and sees that Sirat is sleeping on the sofa. Manish says Sirat asked them to come at midnight and now she is sleeping. Suwarna says they will cut the cake in the morning. Sirat wakes up like a balloon bursts and looks at everyone.
