Ashish Vidyarthi the senior actor is a product of the National School of Drama (NSD) where he started his fruitful career in performing arts. Ashish Vidyarthi has been a master-class actor and a motivation speaker and has been part of projects in as many languages as Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Bhojpuri, Bengali, English, Odia and Marathi, in addition to Hindi.

He was associated with a theatre group Act One, run by N. K. Sharma. In his college days, he joined a theatre group called Sambhav, run by National School of Drama alumni, and started his journey in performing arts.

He has also worked in the TV serial, Ham Panchi Ek Chal Ke. He is famous for his antagonist character roles. In 1995, he received the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for Drohkaal. He is also renowned for his role as Ashutosh, in 1942: A Love Story. Ashish also received the Star Screen Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role, for the 1996 film, Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin.

Ashish who is a well-built personality in the art of acting has his roots deep in theatre. He has always believed that one needs to nourish the stage with good content.
