In today’s television world, Siddharth Nigam is a big star. He has performed in a number of well-known series, including Ashoka, Aladdin, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and Baal Veer Returns. If that wasn’t enough, he’s been in multiple music videos alongside models Jannat Zubair, Ashi Singh, and Anushka Sen, to name a few. But the Aamir Khan-starrer Dhoom 3 has been the pinnacle of his career.

Siddharth played young Aamir in Dhoom 3 for the uninitiated. He was not only instantly famous but he was also inundated with offers for further films. He turned down roles like Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 because he didn’t want to be labeled as a “child actor in films.”

However, did you know? Siddharth Nigam couldn’t afford to travel to Mumbai for the Dhoom 3 auditions because he didn’t have enough money? In reality, the actor was on the verge of losing the picture for the same reason. But it was YRF and Shanoo Sharma who transformed his life for the better and in a big way!

Siddharth Nigam told E!Times, “I had done an ad and then my mother got a call directly from Yash Raj Films. We never knew about YRF or Shanoo Sharma. I knew about Dhoom and Dhoom 2. When she got the call saying they are from so and so production, my mother got scared and disconnected the phone. Mumbai was like London or America for me. Then we searched the names from where we had got the call. She then called up again. We told them that we don’t have so much money to travel to Mumbai for a look test.”

He continued, “The plan then went into the backburner. But a month later, we got a call again for the same film. They called us to Mumbai and they made arrangements for our accommodation. In Mumbai, we met Shanoo Sharma and they loved me the moment I gave the look test. I genuinely thank the production house for everything they did for me during the making of Dhoom 3. It was not just a movie set for me but like a family for me.”

Not everyone is as fortunate as Siddharth Nigam! We wish him the best of luck for the entire time.
