Listen, I am aware of your thoughts. Not yet another piece about skincare. I got it. I have more lotions, pills, and potions than I could ever use, but I keep buying more because I want to have flawless, glowing skin. Naturally, when I learned that there were additional products I could purchase in the wake of the debut of Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Skin line—which debuted last year but has just recently started to sell in the UK at stores, like Selfridges—I was ecstatic.

Facial Wash with Foam This stuff really doesn’t take much to get a long way. Personally, I don’t like foamy face washes very much and would rather use something a little milder. But I will say that it leaves your face feeling very, very clean—possibly too clean if you have dry skin—and it very much took off any eye makeup I had on when I used it. It has a strong scent, which I believe would irritate people over time, but it will work well for occasional deep cleaning.

Toner with Vanilla Milk by Kylie Skin
I cherish toner. We need to chat if toner isn’t a part of your skincare routine. I’ve used a variety of common liquid toners for years with variable degrees of success. I was quite eager to test it out because I had never come across a milky toner before (more of a liquid/cream hybrid). Thanks to its composition of avocado oil and squalene, the toner glides onto the skin and leaves it feeling incredibly soft. I won’t be returning!

Vitamin C serum from Kylie Skin Even after using Kylie Skin’s version for more than a week, despite it being a skincare miracle worker, I still didn’t achieve the shine I was expecting for. The serum contains glycerine to hydrate your skin and is creamier than other serums I’ve used in the past. Additionally, there is a fragrance that, while not offensive, bothered my nose. You might want to do a little extra research when shopping if you want to include vitamin C in your regimen.

Skincare for the Face by Kylie This, in my opinion, is the collection’s star. Although I detest the weight of thick cream on my skin, I must use a more nourishing product if I want to keep my skin from drying out. Obviously a first-world issue. The moisturizer nourishes thoroughly even though it feels light in your hands after the toner left my skin feeling silky smooth and supple. Probably because of its glycerine and sodium hyaluronate (a derivative of the incredibly popular hyaluronic acid) component, I never felt oily, even near the end of the day. Oat and orange peel extract give it a softly sweet smell that isn’t overpowering. An asset!
