Gorgeous actress Eisha Chopra who made her debut in the bollywood movie ‘Neerja’ as Debina, continues to be loved by her fans in all her versatile roles in films like Popcorn and Parchhai and shows such as P.O.W.- Bandi Yuddh Ke. One of her most loved avatar is that of Anita in the popular family drama series, What The Folks by Dice Media. This show follows the story of a young married couple as they navigate each other through family relationships, work pressure and many more such obstacles that life throws at them. The duo of Eisha and co-star actor Veer Rajwant Singh, have wooed the audience for three back to back successful seasons of the show and now returns with the finale season to bid the perfect farewell to their roles of Anita and Nikhil. Launched by Dice Media, What The Folks has won accolades as a relatable family show, where a modern Indian household is trying to break the typical societal stereotypes and learning to love each other despite their dissimilarities.

Eisha has always seen a little bit of herself in her strong and bold character of Anita. Eisha says, “I can relate to Anita even off-screen, especially how the character has helped bind the family together as one, despite all the drama and issues that continue to arise”. However, her on-screen husband Veer played a pivotal role in the success journey of not only the story of the family but also in that of the show. While Veer plays a warm, fun-loving, humble and loving husband to Anita, both Nikhil and Anita complement each other in all aspects- the good and bad. Gushing about their on- screen chemistry, Eisha adds “I feel very lucky and comforted playing the role of Nikhil’s wife and the fact that Veer and I are best friends off-screen makes it so much easier to demonstrate that on- screen. Also, the two characters have always shared a supportive and loving relationship which is based on friendship and mutual respect. This is why, for me, my ideal relationship would be that of Nikhil & Anita in ‘What The Folks’ for sure.”

Anita plays the role of a strong independent woman, with modern beliefs while also understanding and respecting the traditional methods and cultures of her and her in- laws’ families. The powerful feminist character in the show truly empowers the women of today, making it oh-so relatable for the young married women managing work as well as their family dynamics at home. Having always left its viewers with a heartwarming feeling, the goodbye season of What The Folks is definitely one to wait and watch.
