Sushmita Sen is a diva and a stunner of a performer. After a hiatus of almost a decade from celluloid, Sushmita is back entertaining masses in the much talked about web series Aarya streaming on Hotstar Disney.
During the press launch of the OST, when Sushmita was asked about her long absence from screen, she said: “Nobody was offering me something like Aarya (smiles). I wanted something solid to be back. With Aarya, I got paid to learn and unlearn. Opportunities like Aarya are rare in an actor’s life and sometimes we have to wait for it, a little long.”
She continued, “I have lost a lot of people on the way who did not agree with my choices, I did other stuff in between, business and branding et al, but we have all moved on now and what matters currently is the success of Aarya.”
