Lavina Tandon the versatile actress who has played varied roles on TV will be playing a crucial role in the recently launched Sony LIV series Shrikant Bashir.
Lavina who was recently seen in TV shows Musakaan, Mariam Khan – Reporting Live, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara will play a negative role in the series.
Says Lavina, “There is a surgical operation team with the best of officers. Their goal is to protect the city from the threats that the place is facing. My character will enter in the 7th or 8th episode. I am an antagonist, Roma who is one of the villain’s (Anup Sharma) girl friend.”
“Roma will participate in the story in carrying forward the threats against the city. I am like the pretty face, with a complete glam avatar. I wear bling makeup, and am also the bitchy one. My character talks less and shows in actions.”
“I am very excited about the series as it has been shot really well. I was the last actor to enter the series. They were very happy with my work. It was easy to play this character. Roma is stylish, attractive and bitchy. Somewhere, all of this is in me (laughs),” she explains.
The series has many action sequences. “I indulged in many action scenes as well as bike scenes. It was amazing to shoot with the entire cast and crew. We have all become so close that in spite of shooting this series in March of last year, we are all in touch even now and keep talking.”
Lavina is a very big Salman Khan fan and was very happy when she bagged the role. Shrikant Bashir is produced by Salman Khan and Banijay Asia.
Lavina is also working for a new web-series based on the rock band. She is presently shooting for it in Goa.
