The actress expressed her surprise upon learning of the dramatic leap. “I didn’t know about it until a friend of mine sent it to me, and I was so overwhelmed and surprised to jump from 15 to 4!!” Das exclaimed.

The actress, who plays the character ‘Raksha’ in the series, credited the audience’s love for her newfound recognition. “I did not know that my character of Raksha in the Search: The Naina Murder Case series would bring me so much love from the audience! Feeling grateful! And the series is also a superhit!!!”

A Dream Come True on the IMDb Charts, being ranked alongside some of the biggest names in the industry is a highlight for the actress, who has primarily worked in South Indian cinema, across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films, along with some Hindi and Bengali projects.

“I have looked up to these actors for years, just to be in the same list is an honour for me!” she shared, reflecting on her career. “But to be at the top of the list is just beyond imagination. Been working for a long time but finally getting my due.”

When asked about the potential reason for the sudden surge in popularity, which measures the page views of celebrity profiles on the platform, Das speculated that the reach of the series and work she had done across different languages has played a major role.

“Yes, maybe, could be!” she said, acknowledging the impact of regional audiences. “Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali audiences also must have seen it in their dubbed languages. But I am getting so many messages from the Hindi audiences too. Even from people in France and Canada!” she added, highlighting the show’s massive international reach.

In a heartfelt message, Shraddha Das thanked her fans for their support and recognition.

“I love you! Thank you to every single person from every state I have worked in, and also from those where I haven’t! And thank you for recognising my work,” she concluded.
