Working with ALTBalaji and Parto Mithra were the primary reasons for taking up Hum: Satyajit Sharma

Satyajit Sharma who plays the rich and suave Bikram in ALTBalaji’s web-series Hum directed by Partho Mitra feels that the digital medium is a platform to look forward to.

Hum features Kushal Tandon, Riddhima Pandit, Karishma Sharma, Satyajit Sharma in pivotal roles.

The versatile actor who has donned challenging roles in TV and films explains, “It was a good team to work with on Hum. I took it up as I wanted to be part of Parto Mithra’s work. And of course, the series was of ALTBalaji’s, so there was no second thought on it. Every work of Balaji is pitched on a certain level and that was the primary reason for me to take it up.”

Describing about his role, he states, “I will not want to spill the story out. It is for the people to watch. I enjoyed playing this character. And as seen in the trailer, one of the sisters proposes me and even gets married to me, just for the sake of money.”

Satyajit Sharma who is even today known for his portrayal of Basant in Balika Vadhu was recently seen in Half Marriage on &TV and Chandrashekar on Star Bharat.

On immediate plans, he says, “I have been juggling between my two TV shows and the web-series for the last few months. Till the next good project comes my way, I will sit back and relax. Also I am presently involving myself into theatre work and that keeps me busy otherwise.”

Wish you all luck for Hum!!
