Played by Vivek Dahiya, Rajiv begins the show as a loyal employee and devoted family man whose world shatters after he is falsely accused and thrown out of his job. What hurts him more is not the humiliation at work, but the silence and rejection from the very people he sacrificed his life for.
The series wastes no time pulling viewers into Rajiv’s downfall. He is reduced from a respected man to someone barely noticed, working as a peon while carrying years of emotional damage inside him. Yet, ATM Pati does not turn him into a loud hero overnight. The show slowly follows his rebuilding journey, making his pain feel believable. Rajiv starts from nothing, quietly gathering strength while dealing with betrayal, loneliness, and anger.
Eshaanya Mmaheshwari brings warmth to the drama and adds emotional balance to Rajiv’s heavy journey. The chemistry between the leads gives the show some of its softer moments amid the revenge-driven plot. VIJHAY BADLAANI and Rashmi Gupta also play their parts convincingly, helping the emotional conflicts feel layered rather than overly dramatic.
What works best in ATM Pati is its understanding of middle-class emotions. The humiliation of losing status, the fear of becoming unwanted inside one’s own family, and the hunger to prove oneself again are shown in a relatable way. The short-format storytelling keeps the episodes fast-paced, and most scenes move with purpose. There is enough suspense to make viewers continue watching as Rajiv slowly changes from a helpless man into someone driven by revenge and self-worth.
However, the show also struggles in a few areas. Some emotional scenes become repetitive, especially when the story repeatedly reminds viewers of Rajiv’s suffering. A few twists feel predictable, and certain confrontations could have carried more impact with stronger writing. Since the drama moves quickly, some supporting characters are not explored deeply enough, making their decisions feel sudden.
Still, ATM Pati manages to hold the audience’s attention thanks to Vivek Dahiya’s performance. He keeps Rajiv grounded and believable even when the story becomes dramatic. His silent expressions often say more than the dialogue. The final stretch, where Rajiv finds himself trapped in another crime while trying to reclaim power, adds tension and leaves the story on an emotionally conflicted note.
ATM Pati may not reinvent the revenge drama genre, but it understands its audience well. It delivers emotion, betrayal, revenge, and redemption in a format designed for quick viewing without losing the emotional hook.
