We may think affording a meal three times a day is easy, but it isn’t for those working on daily wages. And such is the life of Raghu, the protagonist of Mitti Ka Sher micro-drama, played by Rishabh Jaiswal. The drama engages viewers in Raghu’s world through his emotional, relatable situation.
The story opens with the introduction of Raghu, the son of a common man, who dies in an unfortunate incident on the construction site. And now he works as a laborer in place of his father, but the cunning of those in power makes his survival difficult — especially with his younger brother, Bablu, down with illness.
Raghu’s friend gives him a shortcut to earn, bringing him to a desi boxing ring where he doesn’t have to play to win but to lose. Raghu steps into the boxing world, ready to lose every match just for money, as this becomes his survival backup. This shows the pain of the poor and the power of the rich.
Unaware of what destiny holds for him, Raghu continues to lose until one day he fumes in anger as he comes face to face with Vikram Chauhan, the one because of whom his father’s death file was closed. But did he lose or win that day? Well, the result will surely shock you.
Raghu’s gripping story of survival reflects the power money holds and the lengths the rich will go to for their own. What happens ahead is unexpected, and this very thing keeps the viewers engaged. Actor Rishabh Jaiswal, who is winning hearts in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Krish Poddar, has once again showcased his acting skills to the best of his ability.
Rishabh, with sincerity and emotion, shines in Mitti Ka Sher. Supporting characters effectively elevate the experience. The director has done a good job with accurate shots and storytelling, creating an engaging drama packed into short episodes.
Mitti Ka Sher is an engaging watch with emotional depth, high-octane action, survival struggles, and the silent pain a laborer endures. If you like relatable, inspiring, and action-packed stuff, this microdrama is a must-watch.
