The Sidharth Sengupta directorial, starring Janhvi Kapoor is an adapted version of Kolamaavu Kokila (2019), starring Nayanthara. Janhvi was seen essaying a stellar job as the leading role in the movie, garnering praises from the buffs.

Monica, O My Darling – Netflix

The movie, O My Darling, helmed by Vasan Bala is based on the novel Burutasu No Shinzou by Keigo Higashino. The film wraps with a conflict between ambition and murder. The story spins around the employees of a robotic company who are up for no good. The film is a must-watch for the ones who are into crime comedies. The film stars Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte, Rajkumaar Rao and others.

Darlings- Netflix

The story of Darlings imparts a lesson on trust and innate wickedness. In addition, it depicts a hostile marriage between Badru (Alia Bhatt) and Hamza (Vijay Varma), where the husband initially wields absolute authority. The film tips on dark humour, brilliantly pulled by Alia, Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah.

Jalsa – Amazon Prime

The story of Jalsa focuses on the two different lives of two mothers, essayed by Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah, who want to cater for the best of their children. However, these two mothers get heavily affected by a hit-and-run accident. Helmed by Suresh Triveni, the thriller is a must-watch.

A strenuous macabre drama, A Thursday is directed by Behzad Khambata. The movie features Yami Gautam playing the lead. Neha Dhupia and Mazel Vyas both play significant roles in the movie.
