The Quick TV’s latest microdrama, Narak Dwaar, follows the story of Rudra, a highly skilled and powerful name in the Underworld. What begins with introducing a powerful character, the story takes a completely new turn, introducing Vidhya, the owner of a martial arts school, who struggles to save the place from Michael, the local goon, who has Virendra (a powerful figure in the martial arts business) by his side.
Michael wishes to win over the school place and Vidhya, prompting a challenge—a battle between Michael and Vidhya’s players, and if Vidhya loses, she will lose not just the school but herself. Meanwhile, Rudra makes his entry, leaving everyone in confusion, unaware of his identity. Rudra introduces himself as a sweeper—but why? And will Vidhya win over Michael? What is the connection between Vidhya and Rudra? All the answers you can get when you watch the short episodes of drama.
While the series looks interesting in terms of plot, the loose ends and weak screenplay disconnect viewers. In an attempt to grip viewers and create suspense, the series leaves viewers confused. Though finding answers would be just 2 minutes in the next episode, the drama feels quite slow and struggles to land on the right spot.
The storyline blends drama, emotions, action, and suspense, while the fantasy touch does bring something new, but it doesn’t truly elevate the experience. The wobbly storyline fails to keep viewers invested.
In terms of performance, actor Rajniesh Duggall brings his best. He maintains the intensity and playful vibe, but his solo effort couldn’t save the overall experience. Watching this may become disappointing if your expectations are higher.
Overall, Narak Dwaar tries to surprise by blending action and emotional drama with fantasy, which works most of the time, but this time it fell short.
