Zindagi Ka U Turn, the name of Pocket TV’s micro-drama itself, suggests it’s full of surprises and drama. Packed into short, snappy episodes, it kicks in an adrenaline rush, boosting curiosity and tension.
The show takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, exploring the dirty games of power, money, business, ambitions, deceit, betrayal, and greed. It begins with a promising narrative about Raghav, a common man who is often insulted by his wife, Sonam, not because he did anything wrong, but because he is poor.
One day, Sonam divorces Raghav and moves in with her partner in crime, unaware of the turning point in Raghav’s life. As Sonam leaves Raghav, Nandani comes up with a shocking revelation about Raghav’s wealth, turning the tables. The storyline is crisp and manages to entertain the viewers with full drama.
Despite its short episodes, it manages to deliver all the drama and twists to keep you glued to the screen. The backbone of the show is the strong, impactful dialogues in emotionally charged scenes, delivered by the actors, which add a dose of entertainment.
Performances by the lead actors Ruslaan Mumtaz, Monalisa, Nandani Tiwari, and Arav Chowdhary elevate the tension, bringing authenticity to their characters.
However, what makes the show stand out is its ability to portray how the hunger for power can not only destroy relationships but also cause one to forget their moral values. With each episode, the show keeps the viewers hooked. It is a well-executed drama that hits emotions hard.
IWMBuzz rates Zindagi Ka U Turn 3.5 out of 5 stars!
