Exclusive: Aamir Ali joins the cast of Scam 1992 directors Hansal Mehta and Jai Mehta's web series on Somalian Pirates for Hotstar

Filmmakers Hansal Mehta and Jai Mehta, makers of Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story are associating together for another biggie of a web series. The big-scale thriller series revolving around the Somalian Pirates will feature a good blend of Indian as well as the international cast. The series will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. The series will be produced by Shaailesh R Singh’s Karma Media and Entertainment.

The series has been in media report and is slated to have a stellar cast that includes Vivek Gomber, Deepak Tijori, Rajat Kapoor, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Amruta Khanvilkar, and Gaurav Paswala, Harry Parmar in the main cast.

News coming to us at IWMBuzz.com is that talented actor Aamir Ali who was earlier shooting with Hansal Mehta for his directorial film Faraaz has been roped in for this big-ticket web series.

We buzzed Aamir Ali but did not get through to him.

We reached out to Hansal Mehta and the spokesperson at Hotstar but did not get revert.

As per reports in media, the series has already gone on floors and is currently being shot on a large ship in Cape Town. A 90-days shooting schedule has been planned for the show in Cape Town, Ukraine, and Delhi.
