Senior NSD actor Govind Pandey who will be seen in the Vikram Vedha Hindi remake and the web series The Great Weddings Of Munnes, is presently shooting for a digital film. He will be part of the Netflix film cast, Kathal.
Kathal the upcoming Netflix drama-comedy film will have a plot set in a small town and revolves around a local politician whose prized jackfruits go missing and a young police officer who is adamant to solve this bizarre case to prove herself. “Kathal” marks the directorial debut of Yashowardhan Mishra. “Kathal” is produced by Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, Achin Jain and Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and co-produced by Nachiket Pantvaidya and Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh.
The digital film will have Sanya Malhotra and Anantvijay Joshi playing the leads. We at IWMBuzz.com wrote about seasoned actors Brijendra Kala, Rajpal Yadav and Vijay Raaz playing crucial roles in the film.
