Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa, the latest offering of ZEE5, is receiving all the praises for its unique storytelling of a murder mystery packed with drama, emotions, chaos, and surprises. Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with A Mithya Talkies Production, the film has Vinay Pathak in the central character with Ranbir Shorey in a key character. Both of them, in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, spilled the beans on saying yes to this project and shed light on more interesting insights.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, when asked both whether they gave a second thought for Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa, or it was a yes always, Ranvir quoted, “Aaray Rajat Kapoor ji ki picture hai, kya second thought, isme second thought nahi hota hai isme pre thought hota hai, sochna baad me pehle picture pakdo. (It’s a Rajat Kapoor picture, what second thought? In this, there is no second thought; in this, there is prethought. And think later, but first grab the film.”
Adding to Ranvir, actor Vinay said, “Pehle haa bolu fir baad me dekho kya kerna hai (Say yes first and then later see what you have to do).”
Reacting to what was challenging for him in the role of Sohrab, Vinay shared that the most challenging part was that he couldn’t believe he got this role, as he was fearing that someone might steal it from him before the shooting started, but once the shooting started, it was all smooth.
While Ranvir shared that the difficult part was that Rajat gave him options to choose a character he would like to play, saying he is a good actor and he can do anything. Ranvir picked his character, but a few days before the shoot, Rajat told him to take the other character, while he himself took the character Ranvir chose.
