Social media took on a buzz soon after Orry took a subtle dig at Sara’s career in an ongoing thread. Later, Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani, spoke about what went wrong with Sara Ali Khan and her family. Orry further stated that there is no need to pretend to be friends when they are not, adding that their mother, Amrita Singh, traumatised him. He further stated that if Amrita Singh apologised to him, then he might consider reconciliation with the siblings.
Talking to Hindustan Times, Orry said that he unfollowed Sara Ali Khan a while ago, “I unfollowed Sara a while ago.. and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years.” He further added, “Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be ok with the trauma her mother put me through and I just don’t think I can do that anymore,” per India Today.
He was later asked whether he would reconcile, and he said, “If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future,” giving followers a hint that Sara and Ibrahim’s mother, Amrita Singh, had initiated the feud he was referring to.
Further explaining his remark on Sara Ali Khan’s career, he said, “I don’t really think I said anything wrong about her.. I just made a small joke taking a dig at her career .. I highly doubt she even felt bad about it .. the whole internet makes fun of Sara’s movies all the time.. her biggest body of work is a series of memes that she’s delivered via movies.. people make fun of me being jobless all the time.. it’s not that deep.” Soon after this, Sara and Ibrahim unfollowed Orry on social media. However, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan have yet to issue an official statement.
