With the lead girl in ALTBalaji’s upcoming series quitting, fans of Karan Singh Grover might have to wait longer...

Palak Jain quits ALTBalaji’s Judaai; Karan Singh Grover’s web-series to see a DELAY

ALTBalaji, the ever-buzzing app of Czarina Ekta Kapoor has lined up great differentiated content to connect to the masses in the year 2018!!

The ALTBalaji team has started the year on a great note, still counting on the success of BOSE – Dead / Alive and hitting on to the right buzz for its recently launched series, The Test Case.

With the Rajeev Khandelwal starrer Haq Se next in the pipeline to spread its wings, the ALTBalaji team has big stars Karan Singh Grover (Judaai) and Kushal Tandon (Kapoors) all ready to ascertain their supremacy amongst their huge loving fan base.

While we say this, we have got valuable information that the Karan Singh Grover fans might have to wait a tad bit longer as Judaai has been stuck in its pre-production phase for a long time now!!

The web-series was slated to go on floor in December 2017, but has taken more time for detailing in its pre-production stage.

Now the team of Judaai seems to have encountered a bigger problem, that of the lead girl to romance Grover apparently finding more comfort in a daily soap!!

Yes, we are talking about newbie Palak Jain who was to debut as actor with this big-budget series.

A credible source confides in us, “Palak had been waiting patiently for the series to kick-start. However, she has apparently run out of steam, thus opting to look out for plum TV options. She has apparently managed to bag a daily soap, owing to which she has quit Judaai. This actually leaves the series in a problem situation, considering the delay in shoot that it has already faced.”

We have also got to hear that Karan Singh Grover’s dates were available for the series from December 2017 to February 2018, which means there is more trouble on cards.

Our source further tells us, “Karan is not available for shoot in March and April. Now with Palak opting out right at the time when the series was to go on floor, the need to get a new female lead pretty urgently is what the team needs.”

Well, for more information, we have gotten to know that after all the wait, the team was to roll on with shoot in the next 10 days or so. This means that they have a week or so to get the new girl.

Also, with more time ticking, the budget of the show too goes up, with the interim phase adding on to the bills.

We further buzzed yet another source who said, “With Karan’s dates not available post February, there is all likelihood of the shoot spilling over to the month of May (if they find a lead girl and start shoot in February).”

Another fear in all the delay is Karan’s availability in the second half of the year.

In all this, we are really left wondering whether the web-series Judaai will manage to combat all the hurdles and see its dawn!!

When contacted, Palak Jain told us, “I have nothing to comment. I am sorry.”

We reached out to Producer Ekta Kapoor to know more on the present scenario with regards to the series, but could not get revert from her.

We are sure all the Karan Singh Grover fans will have their fingers crossed, and their prayers to see their hero in action soon will work wonders for the series!! Here’s hoping that Grover gets the girl to romance onscreen very soon….
