Saqib Saleem to play lead in Apoorva Lakhia’s web-series Raftaar for Voot

Popular Director Apoorva Lakhia will soon come up with a spy thriller series which will stream on Voot.

Lakhia who is known for his films as director Shootout at Lokhandwala, Zanjeer, Mission Istanbul, Haseena Parkar etc will now be the next big Bollywood Director to move to the web.

The series will be a huge one in terms of its concept.

News coming in is that ace actor Saqib Saleem will play the main lead role in the series.

Saqib, as we know, had a breath-taking debut on the webspace with Rangbaaz for ZEE5. The actor known for his films Bombay Talkies, Dishoom, Race 3 will play an interesting role in the series.

Saqib is slated to play the role of cricketer Mohinder Amarnath in the upcoming film 83 which is based on India’s World Cup triumph in the year 1983.

We buzzed Saqib and Director Apoorva Lakhia but did not get revert.

We reached out to the spokesperson at Voot but did not get a response.
