TV czarina Ekta Kapoor, who is ruling the world of television and movies through her creative content, says she wants to now explore the digital world.

“I want to create good content. All I want is to innovate and work like a newcomer. I want to achieve a huge milestone and make my name in the digital world through my ALTBalaji shows. I want the young India to watch the content,” says Ekta at the launch of Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya.

The Balaji Telefilms head has been criticized for her so called regressive content on TV for many years. When we ask how she copes up with these situations, she avers, “I live with it. If I would feel bad about criticism then I would have jumped out of the window many years ago. But I did feel pain. There were days when my Amma was in hospital and next day the front page of the paper has a big article about my content and has criticized me. I don’t look back in life. Every day I start my day as a newcomer.”

Talking about Kundali Bhagya, Ekta further adds that there have been foreign shows with successful spin-offs hence she also adapted the concept and wish it does great on-screen.

Finally, Ekta wants to bring cult shows Wagle Ki Duniya, Koshish – Ek Aashaa, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Dekh Bhai Dekh back to small screen and live that era in a new way. While Kanyadan, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasamh Se and Koshish – Ek Aashaa are her personal favourite shows.
