Sachin Mohite’s banner Jaasvand Entertainment completes a good run of five years in the industry!!

From producing episodics of Savdhan India to making its presence felt on the digital platform with the successful series Gandii Baat, the path ahead seems rosy and bright.

Talking to about the achievement of the five year run, Producer Sachin Mohite said, “After doing quite a lot on TV, Jaasvand Entertainment moved into the web space with Gandii Baat. It has been a great start. In the next two months, we will be seen on other platforms too. I am presently working on a project that has been very close to my heart. I have been into it for the last five years. But now, the concept has taken shape and a web platform has come ahead to accept it.”

On the plusses he has seen as Producer, Sachin stated, “I used to be a guy taking my salary on the 1st of every month. But now, as I run my own company, I see to it that all my people are paid on time. God has been really kind to me. He has blessed me with a very good team. It is not about me, but it is more about my team and the work we do. I have the same team for the last five years, starting from the spot boy to the art department to the creative team. We have been together and have moved from one project to another.”

Ask Sachin if he will be interested in making a family drama soap and he quickly said, “Yes on TV, we will soon be coming up with a family drama.”

“We have explored 360 degrees, having dabbled into ad films, digital space along with TV. Now the next big step for Jaasvand will be to get into films. The script for this is locked and we will be getting into it this year,” he added.

However, eyes are locked on the date of 7 January now, with Season 2 of Gandii Baat all set for streaming. “The expectations for the second edition are huge. We have our fingers crossed.”
