Netflix India has offered some of the most exciting and refreshing series for the audience to enjoy. now fans are eagerly waiting for Sacred Games 2
Sacred Games, based on Vikram Chandra’s best-selling novel of the same name, was co-directed by eminent filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. Sacred Games 2, the second installment of the series, is co-directed by Anurag Kashyap and Masaan (2015) fame director Neeraj Ghaywan.
The series revolves around Sartaj, a seasoned and cynical Mumbai police officer who is summoned one morning by an anonymous tip which promises him an opportunity to capture the powerful Ganesh Gaitonde, criminal overlord of the G-Company. The season 1 has received mostly positive reviews from critics, with particular praise for the performances and writing.
The second part of the series will pick up from the nailbiting climax of Season 1. Saif Ali Khan who plays Sartaj Singh embarks on a journey of self-discovery, struggles to solve the mystery of Gaitonde’s third father, and attempts to salvage his failed marriage, all while trying to save Mumbai from a massacre. The series will release on August 15.
