Ishq Aaj Kal is an Indian web series featured on ZEE5 and produced by Dheeraj Kumar, Zuby Kochhar and Sunil Gupta. It is a spin-off from popular television show Ishq Subhan Allah and is directed by Nitesh Singh. The ZEE5 original series is a romantic thriller series with 8 episodes and stars Angad Hasija, Ankita Sharma and Paras Kalnawat in the lead roles. Aaliya Jaffri, played by Ankita Sharma, is interning at a hotel where Arshad Ali Khan, portrayed by Angad Hasija is at the lead for her team. Within the team, Faraz Shaikh, portrayed by Paras Kalnawat, seems to show interest in Aaliya but she doesn’t like him. However, Aaliya’s dark past complicates the lives of her, Faraz and Arshad, bringing a twist in the love story. The 24-year-old Aliya is on a mission to find her father and discover the truth about her mother’s murder.

1. Aaliya admits that she has a crush on their hotel owner Arshad Ali Khan. Later
begins the journey of a new bond between Aalia and Amaira.
2. Aaliya and Faraz’s sensuous dance and their chemistry are one of the major
highlights till now.
3. Arshads’s aunt and Amaira’s mother Naaz Khan find out that Aaliya and Amaira are
step-sisters.
4. Aaliya supports inter-faith marriage and goes against Arshad while Amaira is
plotting against Aaliya to create brawl at the reception but Aaliya manages to save.
5. Munmun played by Roshmi Banik goes missing and Faraz doesn’t get selected to
go to Mumbai.
