How would your life be if you didn’t step out of the house for just a month? And that too, if your car is stolen, will you be able to stay in, even when forced? The Netflix Original movie, directed by Shashanka Ghosh and Sumit Basu, has Karan in the movie House Arrest, played by Ali Fazal, who has not stepped out of the house for around 9 months and who works from home through Skype, while his friend JD, played by Jim Sarbh, uses all kinds of methods and tricks, but still fails to get his friend out of the house. Being an extrovert, you will never be able to imagine a life like his.
You shouldn’t miss out on this movie which is full of humour, and get annoyed by a pink-wearing-pink-talking neighbour named Pinky. And finally, you will meet Saira, played by Shriya Pilgaonkar, who is a journalist. Saira is curious about the life of Karan and his choices, and lands on his doorstep to write a story on him.
The movie is shot in a typical train house of Delhi, which has been converted to a wonderful living space, with quirky artwork and mesmerizing designs.
The one-time watch, but the mustn’t-miss-on-a-lazy-evening movie will boost you up for the next day.
