India has emerged as one of the top five markets for the gaming industry on smartphones in terms of users as per the reports from a leading mobile advertising platform. The report says that the annual gaming revenue in India is to grow to USD 943 million. It is also reported that users in India spend a minimum of 42 minutes every day over five sessions.

While one of the members of the advertising company says that 89 percent of all game revenue is generated by mobile phones in India. Also, those gamers are highly indulged in mobile games. Almost one-third of the people play five days a week or maybe more and 40 percent spend more than six hours playing games.

While the entry of Reliance Jio into the industry led to substantial price cuts, which in result boosted the mobile application atmosphere.

As reported, Ludo King is the top game played by Indians on their phones, and there are 10 million active users. While Subway Surfers follows a popular game in India that has 5 million active users daily. Temple Run holds third place with 2.5 million active users.

Mobile games are hugely played by adults and kids, though there are fewer numbers of women who are also indulged in playing mobile games.
