From virtual battlefields to one of television’s most unpredictable houses, Tanmay Singh, popularly known as ScoutOP or Scout, has unlocked a completely new level. The esports star is currently inside the Bigg Boss 20 house after making his grand entry on September 6, marking a major crossover between India’s gaming community and mainstream reality television.
Scout’s Gaming Journey
Scout began his professional esports journey in 2018 and rose to fame through PUBG Mobile, later becoming a recognizable face of the BGMI community. Over the years, he has represented several prominent gaming organizations, including Team IND, Team SouL, Fnatic, and Orange Rock. His aggressive gameplay, sharp shooting abilities and competitive approach helped him build a strong fan base.
One of the biggest milestones of Scout’s competitive career came in PUBG Mobile World League 2020 East, where he and Orange Rock finished as runners-up. The result became an important achievement for Indian mobile esports on the international stage.
Team XSpark And Esports Success
Scout’s journey eventually expanded beyond professional play. He became closely associated with Team XSpark, taking on roles within the organization while remaining an influential gaming personality.
Team XSpark had a standout 2024, winning both BGIS 2024 and BMPS 2024. The achievement made the team the first to win both major BGMI tournaments in the same calendar year. Team XSpark later merged with Revenant Esports to form Revenant XSpark, with Scout continuing his association with the organization as its brand ambassador.
From Gaming Screens To The Bigg Boss House
Scout’s journey has also expanded into content creation, livestreaming, and digital entertainment. Reports put his YouTube following at more than five million subscribers, while his Instagram audience is around 4.4 million.
His Bigg Boss 20 entry now gives fans a chance to see a side of Scout beyond gaming. During his interaction with Salman Khan, Scout revealed that he earns around ₹30 lakh per month through his gaming career, highlighting how esports and digital content have evolved into serious professional avenues.
Popular digital creators, including CarryMinati, Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan, and Elvish Yadav, also celebrated his entry and sent messages to the gaming star during the premiere.
Scout’s Biggest Game Yet
Inside Bigg Boss 20, Scout no longer has a virtual battlefield, teammates, or a gaming setup. Instead, he has to navigate relationships, tasks, strategy, nominations, and the personalities around him.
For a gamer known for competitive instincts and strategic gameplay, Bigg Boss presents an entirely different kind of challenge. Scout’s biggest game has now moved beyond the screen—and this time, there is no reset button.
