Today, we have another Indian food recipe for you to try. It’s our favourite Aloo Kulcha. You can never go wrong with Aloo Kulcha and it’s so easy to make.

Let’s Have a look

Ingredients

2 ½ cup boiled mashed potatoes

2 finely chop green chilies

1 cup finely chopped coriander

2 cups plain flour

2 tablespoons dry yeast

1 tablespoon sugar

2 tablespoons curd

Oil

3 tablespoon black sesame seeds

Butter

Salt to taste

Let’s get cooking

STEP 1

Take a bowl and add the yeast and sugar with 5 tablespoons of lukewarm water, mix it well and keep it aside for 10 minutes with a lid on it. Combine the flour, salt to taste, and the yeast water mixture in another bowl and make a dough by adding water whenever necessary. Once the dough is ready, cover it with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for about an hour

STEP 2

To make the stuffing, add the mashed potatoes, salt to taste, coriander, green chillies and curd all together in a bowl and mix it well. Your stuffing is ready to go.

STEP 3

Once the dough is ready, make a small portion of it and roll it with a rolling pin. Once it’s about medium size, add the filling to it in the center and seal it tight. Roll this again until you have the Kulcha to your desired size.

STEP 4

Sprinkle sesame seeds and coriander on it and roll once again until it all settles in the dough.

STEP 5

Take a griddle (tava) and heat it up on medium flames and add butter to it, once the butter is warm, put the Kulcha on the tava and cook on both sides until golden brown.

Your Kulcha is ready to be served.
