If you are a chicken lover, chicken tikka is probably one of your favourite dishes that make your mouth water. As complicated as it sounds, Chicken Tikka is relatively easy to make and requires ingredients that are readily available at home.

We have a really easy Chicken Tikka recipe for you to try that will satisfy all your cravings on a budget, that too at home.

INGREDIENTS

1 big cup of chicken breast pieces
1 cup curd
2 tablespoons Ginger Garlic paste
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
½ tablespoon Turmeric
½ tablespoon cumin
½ tablespoon cinnamon
½ tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon chili powder
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Vegetable oil
Freshly chopped coriander

Let’s get Cooking

Step 1

Take the chicken pieces in a big bowl and add the curd, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, coriander powder, turmeric, cumin, paprika, chili powder, cinnamon, pepper, and salt to taste. Mix it well and keep it aside for marinating for about 2-3 hours.

Step 2

Once the chicken is marinated, put the pieces in skewers and brush them with vegetable oil. Barbecue them on each side for about 2-3 minutes until the chicken is properly cooked.

Step 3

Use a toothpick to check if the chicken is cooked and then take the pieces off from the skewers. Sprinkle some fresh finely chopped coriander. Your Chicken Tikka is ready to be served.
