Fort Aguada

Fort Aguada is a 17th-century Portuguese fort overlooking the Mandovi River’s confluence with the Arabian Sea. The fort’s decaying ramparts are seen from Sinquerim Beach. The fort’s feature is a lone four-storey lighthouse (the only one of its kind in Asia) and a breathtaking sunset outlook.

Thalassa

The Greek Taverna, Thalassa, is one of Goa’s most popular restaurants. It is known for its trademark drinks and sunsets, having located to the backwaters with Siolim (from its previous location on the Vagator hilltop). It delivers real Greek Mediterranean cuisine while resonating with the cultural flavor of Greece.

Fontainhas

Fontainhas and Sao Tome is a lovely Latin Quarter in Panaji, located on the banks of the Ourem Creek and called after the local natural springs. It was built on land purchased in the 18th century by a Goan who had made a fortune in Mozambique. The quarter is presently designated as an UNESCO historic site and is known for its attractive Portuguese-style residences at the foot of the Altinho hills.

Anjuna Flea Market

On Wednesdays, the Anjuna Flea Market is a treasure mine of treasures, handicrafts, hippy apparel, souvenirs, and anything else imaginable, from cheap bags to footwear and trash jewelry. The Anjuna Flea Market, sometimes known as the “Queen of Hippie Flea Markets,” is as much a part of the Goa experience as the beaches.
