Abhishek Bachchan is considered to be one of India’s finest actors and the man has certainly done his best to follow the footsteps of his father in terms of doing great work on-screen. Some of the best projects he has been a part of are Guru, Yuva, Dhoom, Manmarziyan, Breathe: Into The Shadows, & many more. And now, he’s back with The Big Bull where he’s playing the role of Hemant Mehta, a fictitious character based on the life of Harshad Mehta.
The story of Harshad Mehta we have already seen in the web series Scam 1992 wherein Pratik Gandhi did a phenomenal job as the lead actor. When Abhishek was exclusively asked about comparisons with Pratik on The Bollywood Talk Show on the IWMBuzz YouTube channel, he said and we quote,
“I am absolutely not bothered about my comparisons with Pratik Gandhi. He did a phenomenal job and I even put forward my words of praise for him after watching the series. Both the projects are different. One is a web series and the other is a movie and they both have their own unique way of storytelling. I don’t like to think about things that are not in my control. I have given my best shot forward and I hope the audience enjoys this as much as they enjoyed Scam 1992.”
