Anushka Sharma made her feature film debut in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Anushka takes a trip down memory lane in Netflix’s current docu-series The Romantics, recalling how Aditya wanted to keep her debut news a secret.

“Everything was kept hidden. Nobody knew about it, and Adi didn’t want anybody to know I was the main character. ‘You can’t tell anyone,’ Adi actually stated to me. ‘You are not even allowed to inform your parents.’ ‘Huh?’ I thought.” Anushka admitted.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which was released in 2008, is about Surinder (Shah Rukh Khan), a modest guy who falls in love with and marries Tani (Anushka Sharma). To impress her, he performs a complete transformation into Raj, who is noisy and fun-loving and the polar opposite of Surinder. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is a narrative told from the perspective of an everyday individual, and it communicates the concept that being ‘ordinary’ is cool.

Anushka will be featured in Chakda Xpress, a sports biopic based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, which will be available exclusively on Netflix.

The film’s ultimate release date is still unknown. For the first time in her career, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress will play a cricketer. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka’s brother, will produce Chakda Xpress through his home production firm Clean Slate Productions. Keep following and reading IWMBuzz.com for more similar updates and information.
