Cameron Diaz, who hasn’t starred in a feature film since 2014’s ‘Annie,’ has revealed that she stopped acting to make all aspects of her life more bearable.

When asked why she decided to leave on Kevin Hart’s chat show “Hart to Heart,” the 48-year-old actress stated, “when you do something at a really high level for a long time, have to be sort of handed off to other people.”

Cameron Diaz realized she needed to alter when she was 40, according to femalefirst.co.uk.

Cameron Diaz said, “There were so many parts of my life that I wasn’t touching and that I wasn’t managing. It’s fun to do. I love it. I love acting. For me, I just really wanted to make my life manageable by me. My routine in a day is literally what I manage to do myself.”

The actress, who has a daughter Raddix with husband Benji Madden, feels she made the right decision because she now has time for “all those things I didn’t have time for before”.

She also said that now she feels whole.
