But, did you know that the actor was actually threatened by the former Karnataka CM, HD Kumaraswamy in public? The incident happened back in 2019, and HD’s comment on Yash took the internet by storm, as it didn’t go really well with the actor’s fans.
As quoted by Koi Moi, the former CM of Karnataka said in his speech, directing Yash, for he lent a hand of support to Sumalatha, wife of the Congress MP, Ambareesh and held out rallies in Mandya, “Some actor called Yash has been accusing my party members. My supporters have refrained from commenting only because of me. I can’t believe I agree to make films with such actors. They are only surviving because of producers like us. Do not believe all that you see onscreen. What you witness daily is the truth. Where had these actors been when the farmers committed suicide?”. He also added, “These actors wouldn’t survive if not for producers like us.”
