South superstar Rajinikanth is that one personality who needs no introduction. Not just for his work in South and Hindi movies folks, the man has a global appeal and that’s why even in places like the United States Of America and UAE, his fan following and stardom is at a different level altogether. With a career spanning more than 50 years in the movie industry, Rajinikanth has literally achieved it all.

We all know about his expertise and phenomenal body of work in the South. But hey, has the actor even worked in regional Bengali movies?

Well, as per reports in Times Of India, Rajnikanth has made a special appearance in a Bengali film titled ‘Bhagya Devata’ way back in the year 1995 that had actors like Mithun Chakraborty and late Soumitra Chattopadhyay in lead roles. The movie was later remade in Hindi as ‘Krantikari’.
