Actress and campaigner Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson hails from England. She has won several awards, including the Young Artist Award and three MTV Movie Awards. She is highly known for her appearances in blockbusters and indie movies as well as for her efforts for women’s rights.

Emma Watson is best remembered for playing Hermione Granger, the young wizard alongside her co-star Daniel Radcliffe, in one of her very first Harry Potter series appearances. She received the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor for her work in “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” the first movie in the series. It’s safe to assume that Emma Watson’s childhood was largely shaped by Harry Potter. Hermione Granger was cast in the actor when she was just 9 years old. She completed all eight films even though she had originally only agreed to two and had thought about leaving the franchise.

Since the conclusion of her eight-film series, Emma has demonstrated her range as a performer with her first screen roles, including the Golden Globe-nominated “My Week with Marilyn” in 2011 and the acclaimed coming-of-age movie “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” in 2012. For her role in the latter, Emma won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor and the Best Supporting Actor Award at the San Diego Film Critics Society Awards. Regression, Noah, Beauty and the Beast, and This is the End are just a few of her most recent films.

And as we all clearly love our favorite Hermione, here are some of her cutest moments from the Harry Potter series.
