Handsome actor-director-producer Farhan Akhtar edited a picture to show himself with his great-grandfather, poet Muztar Khairabadi. In the photo, Farhan’s great-grandfather was seen sitting on a chair wearing ethnic wear and a hat, with a sword and glasses.
In the potrait, Farhan stood next to him as he is seen resting his hand on the back of the chair. He wore an ethnic jacket, paired with black pants. In the photo, Farhan wrote,
“My family thinks I look like my great-grandfather, Muztar Khairabadi.. What do you think?”
As wife Shibani Dandekar reacted to Farhan’s post, she said “Twins” followed by fire and red heart emojis. Anusha Dandekar also commented, “Twins!!! . While Ronit Roy’s comment read “100%”, Shonali Bose also wrote,”Amazing likeness. How lovely Fa.”
Farhan’s fans were also shocked with the similarity between the two. A user thought them to be doppelgangers while a fan mentioned “The resemblance is definitely uncanny”.
Not long ago, Farhan Akhtar made his Hollywood debut with Ms Marvel. In Ms Marvel, Farhan potrayed the role of Waleed, a senior member of an organisation called Red Dagger. Akhtar mentioned the topic of globalisation for Indian artistes and actors in an interview. The director currently seems to be working on a movie script, supposedly for Don 2.
